Introduction

Monel 400 is specifically designed for spraying in arc spray and flame spray systems. It can produces well-bonded coatings with excellent machineability. It has good corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and caustic environments. It can equivalent to: Tafa 70T.
The coatings are very helpful for the chemical equipments and marine, coatings has low shrink and machinable properties..Monel 400 has better resistant than pure copper coatings under oxidizing conditions, non ventilated sulfuric acid environments and streaming seawater.

The coatings are ductile, low in oxides and exhibit a bright,metallic appearance.
Typical Uses and Applications

Corrosion protection for chemical and machine elements, such as pumps, plungers, seal rings, and steam valves.
Effective to protect industrial chemical crystallizers, dryers and vaporizers under sulfuric acid environments at temperatures up to 600 °C (1100 °F) .
Resistance to salt corrosion.
